Spiritual Meaning
Spiritual is of, relating to, or consisting of Spirit or Soul, not composed of matter, incorporeal, supernatural, ethereal, as distinguished from the physical nature. Spiritual is relating to moral or religious nature, or sacred things or matters, devotional, types of spirituality, spiritual beliefs, spirituality examples and practical techniques, spiritual health and mind-body-soul healing, sacred wisdom and more. Notice and realize that the word "SpiRitual" consists of the words Spirit and Ritual, with Ritual being utilized in Magick. This is not coincidence, for Spiritual truly is about Spirits and Magick.
Spirits, there are many types of Spirits, including Spirit Guides, such as ascended masters, ancestral guides, animal spirit guides, even your Higher Self is a very important Spirit Guide. There are many types of Spirits involved in spirituality, including gods and goddesses, saints, angels, demons, but there are also fairies, nature spirits, the Arabian djinn, the Vedic devas, the Jewish dybbuks, the Buddhist dakini, the Greek nymphs, there's mermaids, aliens / extraterrestrials, ghosts, there's the Sanskrit nagas, the Afro-American orishas, the Haitian Vodou lwa or mysteres, there's Elves, dragons, sprites, sylphs, muses, sirens.
These are just some of the different types of divine spirits that can be your guides or guardians, whom you can communicate and work with, who can help you, heal you, teach you, protect you! And not all spirits are equal. Spirits are powerful independent entities, they exist whether we believe in them or not. Spirits have specific names, they have personalities, and responsibilities. Spirits can be unpredictable, temperamental, and mysterious. They are not easy to define, control, comprehend, or categorize. Spirits challenge our modern scientific understandings of space, time, and reality, so there are many reasons why so many people have a hard time accepting their existence. Not everybody acknowledges spirit, not everyone believes in spirits. But, spirits are part of reality, they are part of creation whether modern science confirms their existence or not.
